How can I start training?
You will be sent training material once all documentation has been submitted to our HQ.
I'm done training! How can I start getting shifts?
If you've completed your online training and your in person training, please look at your Open Shifts in WhenIWork to attend your shadow session. If you are not receiving shifts, please try to adjust your availability to be more open during lunch time and after school hours. You may also want to add another region that you're willing to travel to.
If you would like to add a region to travel to, please look at our region map and contact hr@hatchcanada.com with the region you'd like to add.
How many hours am I paid for training?
Each of our training sessions have different hours allocated to them.
Coaches in Canada:
All training is paid at min. wage
- In person training - 5hrs
- Shadow Training - 1.5hrs
- JavaScript Training - 6hrs
- HR downloads - 2 hrs
Coaches in Boston:
All training is paid at min wage.
- In person training - 5hrs (may take less)
- Shadow Training - 1.5hrs
- JavaScript Training - 6hrs

When will I get paid for my training?
Online training and in person training hours are all taken care of on our end!
You'll be paid for training on your first paycheck. Please note each of our pay periods run from the 22nd to the 21st (i.e December 22 to January 21 is our January pay period) and payment is deposited on the last week day of every month.
