Showcase Eligibility
The student needs to have a certain number of project points as well as challenge points to access more showcases. To review this check out Dashboard > My Results > Certification.
How Many Points Do I Need to Get a Showcase Project?
- You need 10,000 total points in addition to 2,500 challenge points to access your first showcase
- You need 20,000 total points in addition to 5,000 challenge points to access your second showcase
- You need 30,000 total points in addition to 7,500 challenge points to access your third showcase
- You need 40,000 total points in addition to 10,000 challenge points to access your fourth showcase
- You need 50,000 total points in addition to 12,500 challenge points to access your fifth and final showcase
Once a student has accumulated enough points for a showcase, they will get notified of this in the form of a banner on the projects page as seen below.
If the student clicks on this banner, then they will see a list with different project themes and showcases (shown below) that they can start. Encourage the student to start a showcase project with a theme that they are interested in.
Note: The themes you see don't affect the project that the student is working on but they are used as guidelines to help the student decide on what project to create and stay on task. Some of these showcase projects also have some instructions to further guide the students, especially if they haven't decided on what they want to create for their showcase.
