You may notice at times that in the details view there is no information of the sponsor representing the student or the student themselves. In cases like this, the school that signs up with Hatch is representing each parent to protect their information and their students' information. This is just a privacy concern. If there's a reason that you believe that you may need the information, that is fine, we just need to respect their choice to protect their privacy. For example: situations can happen where you many need to inform a parent that a student has not been present for their Hatch program weeks at a time; a parent may not be aware that this is even happening unless they are told by us.


You can:

  1. ask school administration to forward communications with the parent
  2. contact our coordinators at Hatch to communicate your needs (coordinators@hatchcanada.com)
  3. in emergency situations it may be appropriate to get the information from the student for emergency purposes. That is alright, but you are not permitted to save the information.
