If your availability opens up during the season and you'd like more shifts, please make sure your availability in When I Work is set to reflect those changes. Keep in mind that the abundance of our programs mostly happen at the beginning of each season, when our new semesters start (Fall, Winter, Spring) so it might be difficult to pick up shifts at the end of a season. Please note that coaches are selected depending on the demand needed and availability provided. For example: in the middle of a season, most of the reoccurring shifts have already been assigned. You'll likely get a shift when a coach can't make some shifts at the point of when you've updated your availability on When I Work and that shift matches your availability on When I Work, or if we partner up with a school after you've updated your availability. Essentially, it depends on the demand of our partners.


When opportunities for more hours open up such as Camps, coaches will be notified either by e-mail or in the weekly Hatch newsletter with all information on how to get involved.
